hey... anyone know they best way to stave a UIFont to a plist? (aka something like NSStringFromUIFont()) but then be able to turn that NSString back to a UIFont after (UIFontFromNSString())?

I'm adding a number to my plist file. Key = delay, type = number and value = 0.25 - However it always erases the .25 part and just keeps the 0. Someone know why this is happening?
there you go... works the same way as the premade 'NSStringFromCGPoint' ect
doesn't have proper validation either but it works for standard fonts (and should or can be tweaked for 3rd party)
i tested it by running this: UIFont *f = [UIFont boldSystemFontOfSize:21]; NSLog(@"f:%@",f); NSLog(@"f:%@",NSStringFromUIFont(f)); NSLog(@"f:%@",UIFontFromNSString(NSStringFromUIFont(f)));
@NikhilBansal before using them from plist, you have install them in your Mac, then , log your family and you need to check whether you got the name of the font which you have added in console or not
@sreecharan @NikhilBansal.. so i guess you would need to make it write the family as well (then check to see if the app has the ttf file installed when converting it back)

@L14M333 @NikhilBansal And if your font file is not .ttf, you have font convertors available online and Nikhil the code which is given by @L14M333 is good and Note that will work on iOS 5, becareful while you are deploying to iOS 4.0
