first line of gradlew is #!/usr/bin/env bash. Is bash installed ?

also, man env or env --help if you're not familiar with env

also, if the PATH environment variable is incorrect, you might see the same error message

e.g.

$> PATH="hello_i_am_mark" /usr/bin/env bash

/usr/bin/env: ‘bash’: No such file or directory

We're gonna be adding a demo account option to the app, so you can either 1. login, 2. register or 3. try out the demo account

means people can easily access the demo account without having to enter email and pw for demo account

Seen a good rise in the amount of DAU (Daily Active Users)

Had our highest on Sunday with 51 users and Saturday it was 50 users

Nearly up to 300 downloads which is nice. Great to finally see the app starting to gain some momentum!

I am always amazed how bad apps (including mine) behave when you disable the "keep activities" in the dev ops

I have loops because activities are used to start new activities and so I create a situation where the back button recreates the previous activity which just restart the just closed one. Navigation loop!

had an issue with a 400mb ram samsung once

i keep as many info as i can on singletons or db's or sharedpref's.

I try to get rid of singletons

a teacher of mine was once unpleasantly surprised when he saw a singleton in our project because "you should only use a singleton if there is no other way"

android's default navigation logic is too flawed to give it a good use

the most i do with it is pass Id's as ints or strings

and that can be avoided too with a proper framework setup

i'ts just like segues on ios. writing 60 lines of code (segue) + lots of callbacks VS 1-liner optional object passed before presenting the view controller

also trains are overcrowded AF so it's not even like you get value for money
