From the documentation "Companies use their reversed Internet domain name to begin their package names—for example, com.example.mypackage for a package named mypackage created by a programmer at example.com." so why is it java.math.BigInteger and not com.oracle.BigInteger as that would follow the convention?

@Celeritas You know, there actually used to be a little company called "Sun" behind the Java development, so it would be com.sun.BigInteger instead. But language / library standard elements are defined in java. / javax. etc packages.
