@AshishAhuja I used websockets to connect to the chat room instead of polling. I figured out how to get it to work: you need to set the Origin field in the HTTP header to chat.stackoverflow.com.

API calls can return more than 1 item at a time. Set the pagesize parameter to 100 (that's the max) and you can pull 100 items at a time.

If you are doing 1 call a minute for 24 hours, that should only use 1440 calls.

@FelixSFD I'm thinking about how we'll do the API API. I think we could have one struct for each "type" returned (so Question, Answer, Post, User, etc.). They will have all of their fields optional since fields can be disabled with filters, and, for simplicity, the names of everything will be the names returned by the API, even when the name goes against Swift naming conventions (like display_name).

We'll have an APIClient object that's in charge of all the API requests, and it will track quota, backoff, etc.
