The only reason you think it's biased is because all the scrubs go around shouting "lalala jquery solves all your problems"

@Delarn you could css in a a variable image for each if you really wanted with a transparent overlay warning but it seems rather redundant

i don't mind people using libraries but too many people don't learn how it works they just take it for granted

@jAndy why do you not see the difference between relative and absolute opinions. just because jquery is shit doesn't mean it isn't the right tool for the job in your relative situation

@Dreamling: yes its also just a library for me, using it basically for abstracting browser-level of all sorts

I love how the jquery discussion is still going

but lots of people seem to think its their personal goal to go to war against it, not realizing that all the problems they mention are not the problem of the library but the people using it
