i have an android application and i need to receive images from my database (before someone ask yes needs to be from database), in my php file i send the full complete string but in android i only receive like half of the string. Do you guys have any tip of why is this happening can someone help ...

Ok so seeing the picture I could get what it is but not sure of whether it is right or wrong ?

So when the button is clicked the v.getParent(); will return where the view is in this case where the button is whether inside the Almond or apple(In the picture).

and parentrow.getParent(); will return the parent of the above which is a list view

And now the the listView.getPositionForView(parentrow); will return the numerical position of where the button was clicked ? i.e 1 for Almond
2 for Apple
