Stack Exchange is about questions with objective, factual answers. We’ve been crystal clear about this for as long as I can remember, even back to the earliest, pre-beta days of Stack Overflow. It’s right there in the standard Stack Exchange FAQ:

What kind of questions should I not ask here?

Avoid asking questions that are subjective, argumentative, or require extended discussion. This is not a discussion board, this is a place for questions that can be answered!

Thus, questions that are not answerable — discussions, debates, opinions — should be closed as subjective. It seems simple enough: Fact good; opinion and discussion bad. But why? …

In my profile I see that, I have 58 question and most of them are checked as answered. How accept rate is calculated?

My Answer Accept rate is 88%. I would really like this to be 100%. So I went and deleted some old posts that had no answers for the last month. I think there were 5 of them. Surely this should at least raise my Acceptance Rate a little? Any ideas why it stayed the same, and what can I do to ge...

answered / ( asked - closed ) <-- I think ... I'm not sure if closed are removed. Also, it takes time for that value to be recalculated. It's done hourly I think.

SO is excellent if you are already a seasoned developer

EE didn't actually cross my radar until 2001, when I worked at a help desk.

But you can scroll down to see the answers if you come from google or bing

I like SO too - but not when I am told off by the "elite"

@mootinator: I don't know about the COD part. But I do like the idea of my yard having a few feet of snow and nobody else's having any. It'd be kind of a win-win around here, since I want it and nobody else does.
