Q: Why does enum cannot be resolved in Java 1.4 compliance level

I am running a EJB project on IBM RAD and Installed JREs is 1.6 (IBM websphere App Server 6.1). I have set Compiler compliance level to 1.4 (I tried with 1.5 and 1.6 but i am getting CHKJ3000E: WAR Validation Failed). However Project runs fine with 1.4 level but have some warnings like: 'enum'...
