I code in C#, and I'm learning lots of web development- so your standard code shit (HTML, PHP, SQL, CSS, JavaScript... etc)

I don't, actually, but my brother-in-law does

he loves it

I use two other methods of coding C# on Mac OSX

(1) Xamarin, which allows you to make native, cross-platform apps

(2) a C# compiler/plugin for TextWrangler

highly recommend Xamarin for anyone wanting to make apps

that's for the log, where you call date()

you can safely remove it, it's just so you can access log.log and see what the program has downloaded/streamed
