Basically, a project planner. I guess it could be used for a lot of other things, but relevant to programming, its best use would be as a project planner.
Hi guys, using searchDisplayController and setting the bar to non-translucent seems to still make it translucent. Tried this in viewDidLoad and IB. Any ideas?

well what i want is a - (NSMutableDictionary *)infoDictionary so all subclasses have that method so then in another controller, i can save that info dictionary
so i just want to now have a dictionary with each class that when called will return a dictionary with their individual info. instead of every widget i make add the method
Which just overrides the implementation of the superclass.
How do you think custom init methods work?
You override the init method in the subclass, and then, if you want to have the effects of the superclass's init method too, you just call it with [super init]
No, because the subclasses aren't required to add the subclasses.
You should make a protocol, and then the compiler will give you warnings/errors if a subclass with the protocol doesn't implement all of the required methods in the protocol.
this is why i hate state restoration the way it works :P I'm adding more methods and such and having the same code being copied so it restores when you quit the app also

__attribute__((objc_requires_super));
