@lucifer the first dynamicly created textbox is filled with the content of text1, that is what i understand that you want. What is what you really are trying to achieve then?

but in your fiddle the 1 st textbox is not getting the value i am inputting into it,have you checked ???

Which is the first textbox for you? DynamicTextBox or text1? Because in my edit DynamicTextBox is getting the value of text1 and that is what you are asking for as far as i can see.

I checked it again DynamicTextBox is not also getting value of text1

Hi there, in the fiddle you are using the dynamicly created inputboxes aren't filled with the values? because i can assure you that in this url : jsfiddle.net/6tpmyro1/2 (the one i've edited) it works perfectly, the only i'm not sure if that is what you want

the one you've just passed to me is the same as the one that is in stackoverflow (i think)

when i click on add button in my edit it adds 3 input boxes with the values of text1 text2 and text3

and that is what i understand you are trying to achieve

the older textbox is then updated and still holds the old value

aaaah it could be, because i did the fix for the first one, and then pasted for the 2nd and 3rd

and just changed the id

you had something wrong in your GetDynamicTextBox() function

your second input whas in the form of

<input class="txt2" class="time>

i changed it to be <input class="txt2 time">

i think it should work as you expected it to work, now

i editted my answer with all the 3 solutions i thought you wanted
