Hi David! Did you try changing the output size with the asset I sent you?

Right now, I don't really have a method to create a background with tiles. I tried WriteableBitmap.Blit() from WriteableBitmapEx (from codeplex).

It's very problematic a it only works on UI thread! I had to create larger images from the tiles in the background. A big limitation of WriteableBitmapEx!
