Oh yeah for sure

I had an HDD die on me though

the speed required to play music is more than covered by a usual HDD, which is 10x cheaper or so, and more durable to write/rewrite operations (SSDs start to degrade after some 20-25 bit flips)

It's last operation was pulling all of the music off of it onto my computer

@Adriaan Yeah for sure, I've only plugged it in twice though

The original exchange of 150GB onto it, and a few days ago to get the missing 20GB

It was on sale for $90 and it's 500GB SSD so it was worth it

It was a mechanical failure that killed my last one.. so figured I'd be safe

It'd be like if the shelf you held all of your CDs in randomly combusted one day and almost burned every CD you own

After that you'd probably buy a metal shelf :P

good thing each shelf holds 15CDs (jewel case). Problem though is that there are 12 per cabinet :p
