I actually did not understand how I can do it. But I got the result now by just adding count-- in the else part of my code

As per my understanding you want this

I want to know the total count when row is selected so that I can pass that value to the next view

as per this code you can get the total number of selected rows

total number of rows where accessoryType = UITableViewCellAccessoryCheckmark

ok then you can take mutableArray and start storing the indexpath where checkmark is there and remove when checkmark is going away

at the time of going to next screen you just need to call mutablearray's count property

I have one more problem in my project

it will return the number of rows which have checkmark

logic was that when user select any row then at that indexpath expandedCustomTableViewCell was going to load and when user deselect that row then regularCustomTableViewCell was going to load
