I've mentioned it a couple of times, but in general, I try to not answer using packages not readily available on CRAN unless they are destined to be GitHub only.

Not exactly the same thing since iotools would expect more standard delimiters while stringi can take regex and more.

I think we can do better than "Test Room" :-)
