I wrote a simple hello world program called m.c then used bcc -c -ansi m.c to compile it to object code and get m.o but my questions is how do i use ld86 and what do i need to link it with to properly generate an a.out type file?

@ElieSaad I'm guessing the mismatch between "AnotherId" and "AnotherlId" is just a typo when copying the code here, but make sure you don't have any similar mismatches.
@HamreenAhmad Press F7. THAT is your code. The WinForms designer just creates code in the background. You'll have to understand that, and understand what the code does, in order to progress.
Also, WinForms is an old an inflexible framework, so it really is a lot of work to do things like what you want. You have to go into owner-draw and other headaches.
WPF has a steeper learning curve, but once you're over it, customizing things like that is a breeze.
@HamreenAhmad It's not really about C# the language, more about choosing the right UI framework. WinForms is old. Not deprecated as such (since it's still supported) but it really shows its age. WPF learned a lot of good lessons from HTML on how to have composable, flexible UI.
We have code-first database with a decimal (standard precision) we've saved some test-data in de db, giving the decimal a value of `4.00` but when we fetch the data our model gets `400M' from the db.
we've tried setting a custom precision, but that didn't help either. We're using EF6
sometimes in a complex world (ours) you have to accept things... the quick fix works for now until you can find the point at which you understand the problem and fix it proper

I have added in the routeconfig: routes.MapMvcAttributeRoutes(); If I try to access the url, it gives error 404. I created a test controller with a view, gave it a route attribute. Same result. I have webApi nuget package as well. *just if this gives anything*
@RoelvanUden i put: [RoutePrefix("Operation")] Because operation is my controller name as well. It's what i need it to be. I received a 500 internal server error now
@JackyNguyen yeah it's not even hitting the action.
@RoelvanUden Route would be useless in our case. If i use route on my action result, the controller route will be overwritten. Route prefix is used for naming the controller url.
off-topic question... when working with large amounts of money (in a database!) what is the best way to store/edit the values (the data type). Is it better to use a decimal value or store the values as an integer and always divide by 100?
