I've got a ListView that I'm trying to add items too. The method for adding the items is in my view (mainpage.xaml.cs) and if I call this method from within the view an item gets added without issue.
If however I call the exact same method from one of my class files it does call the method, and runs through the method fine, however doesn't add anything to the ListView.

Was just about to post to Overflow but perhaps you could help. I have the following method in my mainpage.xaml.cs View:

            termsList.Items.Add(passedValue);
        }
This is purely a method I've created to debug an issue I'm having.
It is meant to take a string value and add it to my ListView.
If I call the method from another method within mainpaige.xaml.cs it all works fine.

The probability that you will hire an idiot as a technical adviser is low, because the way you'd hire them is to find the guy who can explain everything to you in his own way, and a way that an end user will understand.

That is a friend of mine's site. Basically, we have a group of heterosexual men and bisexual women who focus on dating. It is a Skype group. He did the site in WordPress and when I joined him I was like wtf are you using WordPress. I then suggested we use ASP.NET/MVC and he said it took too much work to do stuff the last time he used ASP in class for an example. I was dumbfounded
