hello, sorry for the delayed reply but i was not accessing my linux operating system and had no way of re-testing the script

this is what i get
> ./CFSR2netCDF.sh
convert into .nc
cdo copy: Processed 987365376 values from 2 variables over 744 timesteps ( 235.17s )
re-format into structured grid 0.5x0.5
cdo remapbil: Processed 987365376 values from 2 variables over 744 timesteps ( 53.10s )
produce desired mesh
cdo sellonlatbox: Processed 386760960 values from 2 variables over 744 timesteps ( 7.50s )
convert into .nc
cdo copy: Processed 891813888 values from 2 variables over 672 timesteps ( 210.85s )
re-format into structured grid 0.5x0.5
i removed the parts, sorry but last time i was so fed up that i couldnt think straight
