hello all ; rookie *adorable asshole* here.. a very stupid question:

a multithreaded application in c++ has the main thread processing some very large file , looking for a particular line that may appear couple of times, and a thread is executing an infinite while loop looking for changes made in another file ...

so exiting the main thread, so as to the application is exited, will also force exit the other infinite loop right?
