@Zach. I managed to get the slide to show up in the fiddle. I have made changes to the js and while the original issue is resolved, (The slide distortion while moving up and down is removed. The tab remains the same size in both positions) there is now a new problem. In the close position the slide displays the text for the open and close positions simultaneously. Please help out. Hi, quick question, say I have a folder with the required html/css/(possible)javascript files that would make up a functioning website. How would I go about hosting those files?

You would need to find yourself a web hosting service provider, like say go daddy. The you would need a domain name for your website. Best you try out the website on your machine using xampp or such stack, by creating a local host for yourself first.
