i never said they had to use haskell, but there are other languages to choose from with plenty of devs that are a lot less shitty than php (python, java, etc.)

How can i get two elements to float left and stack on top of eachother? For example, I want:

and my css looks like:

Anyone familiar with bootstrap here?

I noticed that control-labels have padding-top:7 ... it does this to align the label with a textbox or other control. A problem arises if the label wraps to 2lines, then the label no longer looks centered with whatever control it is next to. Is there anyway to dynamically remove the padding ? what do people do in a case like this?
