@ZachSaucier Have you ever come across a css transition issue where if you change the display of an element it jumps to the end of the transition?

Or more to the point if you start the transition while it is display: none it just jumps to the end

If you want to have a live version while working on a revamp I would duplicate the DB and have a dev and productions one. That way if you mess something up you still have a working live copy and the site can run

Also just make sure you arent developing on the live server

You can use grunt for so much. you can make it compile your less when a file is changed then combine your css into 1 file then min it.

@joshhunt Ya, display is not animatable. If you use an animation you can change display first and then animate it in using opacity. Otherwise with pure CSS you can only not use display but hide the element using opacity pretty much
