Not necessarily about Java but programming question: I have geometrical progression as an array like [1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024];
(notice each element is 2^index) so Array[3] = 2^3 = 8.
Now the problem is that I need to be able to sum N number of array elements, like
Array[0] + Array[1] + Array[2] = 7
And then be able to get the elements/indexes that formed that 7 out of it.
Seems complicated but I've seen this practice before with PHP constants like http://php.net/manual/en/json.constants.php#118371 and I think this practice should have a name or something like tha…
