does it generate the right string for you

if I echo the query I get output like 5 time, which is right and equal to $compDiscid

or are you saying you need help with PHP

but i m getting discount value only one time, which is also right because there is only one row

can you make a little sqlfiddle.com

that way it is all ready for me to dive in

otherwise it is a PHP question

my guess is that it's related to foreach, i need the discount value repeat equal to $compDiscid which are total in 5 (the query is repeating 5 times too which is normal and it should)

can't make a fiddle with this, its a function and so like last time will post as question on SO
