The NotificationBuilderCompat has a new method setCustomBigContentView() in the v4 support library 24. You can use this method to avoid the deprecated warning and the method is backward compatible

app and my library were having different appcompat version

but since i couldnt update library

due to other issue

i decided to upgrade all apps since i have to update one day

so now both have same library version

and in it, there'll be 2 kind, one is multi choice, and another would be single choice

Depending upon, a boolean input, I am deciding whether it is a multi choice/single choice

Can you see, there is only on RadioGroup in my xml ?

well that does not prevent you from adding a radiobutton without a radiogroup

and also does not prevent from programmatically adding one

if you are adding radiobutton in method itself why are you returning it?

there is one case

in which I have to set an specific ID to a specific radioButton

btw you are passing checked to it

it is possible you are checking it before adding it to your group

which is a String input, let's say it "Other"

If the input doesn't have this Other, it works fine for any case

But when It's there I have to handle it

then you are passing the already checked view to group

since it doesnt check that

you are getting 2 views selected

@TheLittleNaruto i am not sure but i think that stream.of() is generating a new stream which is accesbile by runtime and stream() is may just genereating like a view for return statements or so..

Is saving a image as a bitmap with the size of 1080px x 1080px to much for Android in the term of memory?

you can alloc 500MB on good devices but you should avoid to use so much memory

in general I really would avoid to use so big images
