to be frank, I hate using libraries. When I was junior, most of my time went in re-inventing the damn wheel for everything. Its only because of that, I am what I am. Something on my list atm is to extend LayoutManager and do cool things (might never happen)

Q: How to create a custom keyboard like this in android?

I want to create a custom keyboard like this for my app. Once a key is touched, it vanishes from the keyboard. I want to use this keyboard in a linear layout. How can I do this?

@user I think just a view with button for every key, and then adding the text on press of button to an edittext will do the job

but there might be more optimised ways
