like if your key is initial caps then GSON is not parsing that object

its also not firing any exception but also not parsing any thing and returning me back null object

Gson gson = new Gson();
Example response = gson.fromJson(json,Example .class);

i am parsing like this

As you're saying the response got updated with caps letter for each name-value pair, you need to update the pojo class too

use intent.putExtra("showTab", 42); so you will know that you should show tab 42, you still need to do that when handling the intent but this should be oblivious
