I have

RUN addgroup -g 1000 www-data && \
adduser -G www-data -g www-data -s /bin/sh -D www-data
RUN useradd -g www-data 1000
and it says
Running g is ambiguous
The command '/bin/sh -c addgroup -g 1000 www-data && adduser -G www-data -g www-data -s /bin/sh -D www-data' returned a non-zero code: 1
Is there a place to get better descriptions of this adduser calls? I don't understand how to make this call in docker and have it work with my volume.
