WPF headaches. I have three listboxes bound to three ListCollectionViews, which contains (sometimes) the same items ("My Items", "Unassigned Items", "All Items").

And all bound to the same SelectedItem proprety.

When I assign an item from the AllItems list, it adds it to the MyItems collection, causing the MyItems listbox to set its SelectedItem to null.

So even though I still have a selected item in the AllItems listbox (which is in the foreground/active tab), my SelectedItem still gets set to null from the listbox in the inactive tab, which causes selection to change in my other listboxes as well.

Anyone ran into anything like this?

I'm fine with ideas either to stop ListBox/CollectionView from spawning SelectionChanged events, or ideas on how to architect my VM differently.
