Looks the JS is adding stuff to the class so can't figure out how it's suppose to be enabled, using firebug on example 3 I see it is active the class is class="customSelect", when it's disabled it changes to "customSelect disabled"

I tried adding $("customSelect").disable()

or you add an event listener

na that didn't work either. Funny thing is on firebug the html comes out as <div id="select-cities" class="customSelect" style="width: 200px; z-index: 100;"><select id="cities" name="countriesFlag" class="custom">

So there is a difference between what is output on firebug and what is in the html file. So everytime I try these, it does not disable it?
