i see you awesomewm, since adopting tmux and google chrome (where most of my apps are chrome tab/apps - e.g. imo.im) i since gone back to simplier xfce
@Matt I don't use chromium only :-) but yeah, tmux can replace the "terminal" part, I also use skype/gimp/libreoffice/etc tho, so awesomewm is awesome for me :)
What's the way to do it? Just edit a html page and reload it in the browser after editing? I would rather have something which runs directly in the browser where I can see instantly the results.

@FlorianMargaine , if we are designing a system for every visitor to our website to contest over a product, the time on when visitor can begin to buy the product is indicated by our count down timer.
@FlorianMargaine we have to ensure that every visitor in different place accessing our site synced in our timer. is it better to make the timer in server side, or client side, ore semi server side plus semi client side
I would make the count down timer running at the client side, but I would also check the time at the point the client timer running into zero to say if it is actually running into zero
Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 ways: 1. The lazy one; store file<->IP 2. File main field, with a list of IPs that downloaded it as another field 3. My favourite, IP main field, with a list of files it downloaded as another field
It actually depends on what you wanna do with this info. If, for example, it's to limit an IP so it can download something only once, then this will work just fine
