I followed the exact steps in the tutorial and created two in app purchases in itunes, but they are not being pulled in my code

I simply created a new app id and then created a provisional development certificate, downloaded and opened it. Then in itunes I created a new app using that app id/bundle id, and added two in app purchases.
Then enabled the in app purchase in my xcode and then simply ran the code from the tutorial. The console is showing no products, the SKProductsRequest has no response, which I do not understand!!
