BTW if you want to assign one object to another you don't need to allocate it

I received strange warning "connection to assetsd was interrupted or assetsd died" and crash some after without output to console while working with assets. I save processed video to assets. After several savings application starts glitch and crashes without any output. Crash shows nothing...

I am using iOS 6 in 4th generation iPod. My app is sending command to the hardware attached to it e.g Bar code device. If I open app it will initialize the scanner, it will take 2 seconds. If user press home button it will send abort Scan. Problem is if user presses home button immediately then initialize process is incomplete. Then I will get black screen instead of my home screen. Please suggest to fix this issue.
