Your answer to the progress dialog inside asynctask is the prime example if what I mean: you just throw code around. I am setting • in the EditText which has a font size around 32sp. (\ u 2022) remove space .

It works fine if we set directly value with dot it shows correct size but when user click on dot from keyboard it doesn't show 32sp , it comes to default size. This is happening for only dot (period).

I want to increase period size too.

Anyone know the solution.

One of my dogs Amber is being put down today, she will be missed. My other dog Nero will miss her as well.
Dogs never lose their happiness, not even when they are 15 or 16. They always are happy, always want to go for a walk.
And humans, we never forget them. Dogs are our friends, our family, our companions.
Amber is survived by her best friend/boyfriend, Nero.

Nero, myself, and the rest of my family will miss her dearly. <3

I took this picture yesterday and she just smiled, even though she could hardly walk.

This will be the third, my two previous dogs I grew up with passed away a few years ago.

@Ahmad I love it! It's $20 for the basics +$10 for any additional data. All calls and texts go over wifi automatically and any data you don't use gets paid back to you and there's no fees for going over.

I can't act on my two JIRA tickets, so I can spend time learning but I'm not sure if I should look at sample apps for RxJava/Retrofit, or Espresso because neither of our Android devs know that and I've dabbled in it moderately before so perhaps I can play around with some tests on that to show them.

yep that's the worst part of starting out - when you're stuck on something and everyone you could possibly ask is away from their desks, in meetings or WFH or out sick or whatever

best thing to do is just get more familiar with the codebase at that point

Carl: "./gradlew --stop" is pretty good, although it then pushes the last known APK to your device which is annoying

also, we had to implement a small simulated bitcoin miner that has to calculate hashes

helper class lives inside activity

want to enforce that you call the helper method's onstop method when the activity's is called

so you can do stuff specific to that helper

i know theres a pattern which will force you to do that rather than just having to remember
