but now when I plugin the device using cable, it doesn't recognize the devices

lsusb doesnt return them

adb devices dont show nothing

Makes sense. For debugging purposes you might want to narrow it down. Just a suggestion.

Did you chmod a+r /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules?

And did you reboot after adding the rules? Not sure if that is required, but worth a try.

A: Android device not recognized in Ubuntu 16.04

After a lot of things I tried, this was the solution. I followed this instructions And what did the trick was to change in my phone the "USB PC connection" from Media device (MTP) to Send Images (PTP).
