@mr5 Yes, you're right. That's a little easier to handle with a Recyclerview, which I'm trying to use now, but I'm not adding buttons to it.

Have you solved the long click issue then?

Yeah, I can long click, but the item doesn't animate. You know how in a listview, if you press an item it has the soft shadow that expends on the item? Mine doesn't do anything until the long click registers and it does what I tell it to

onCreate() is perfectly fine

I usually use onCreateView() to initialize, well, view-related stuff

Yeah, I gathered that, but I've seen it go both ways.

onCreate() is more intuitive though, i guess.

yeah, and onCreateView gets cluttered more quickly (at least for me)
