Plus it gives me a chance to really learn how to properly test an app

@TristanWiley Explain to them that getText() returns an Editable object, which is not a string. Here is the docs: developer.android.com/reference/android/text/Editable.html

The overview:

This is the whole point behind AsyncTask; it moves long running operations from the UI Thread. By doing this, the UI Thread can "continue" executing while the Thread started by the AsyncTask does the heavy duty operation. One possible solution could be storing a boolean value in SharedPreference...

angular took a little time to understand but it's actually been coming along ok. I just need to push hard today and finish up authentication and allowing the customer to change the location they are viewing
