Chances are you won't be able to straight copy and paste it and have it work as needed for your app, so it's not really cheating, as much as getting help.
That's a workaround, since the problem is to do with this cool Rails feature where it automatically converts empty arrays to nil, which causes our attribute whitelisting to shit itself. Oh well.
I wanted to make an android app to automate buying a set of products every month from Amazon.com. Any ideas on which api would be free and easy to use, I started looking in Zinc.IO but looks like thats a paid service and involved making a curl call which I was having trouble setting up in android. Any ideas?

I forgot to use cursor.moveToFirst(). I've let CursorAdapters get the best of me and forgot I need that.
It's a simple checkbook application, but in addition to just recording transactions it allows you to set an allowance and spending period and helps you see what you're spending so you don't go over budget.
I got the idea like a year ago when I was trying to find a checkbook app in google play but couldn't find one I liked and just said 'screw it, I know how to make one, so I'll make one that matches my needs' and I've only just recently gotten around to it
I try to combine the android passion with my university projects because its hard to work on something personal and also work on university's needs too
Hopefully professors let us implement in any enviroment so the last year android has been my choice :p
But if you find time for freelancing that's amazing

There are 2 activities. On first one I call an api to get some information in onCreate() method to show it on screen, and on second one I just show some faq.
So, when I get back from my faq screen to main screen, onCreate is called again. Is it possible to skip it second time?

You are getting a leaked Window because you are not dismissing the Dialog before the Activity finishes. If the Camera is in use by another Application and said app is out of scope, then it bad practice from the developer of that app; system resources should be released as soon as possible.

and I know we have metrics to determine which sites to show based on migration statistics.
Sure you can flag as "Other" but is that really the best option if another is available?
