the location api is really the only thing that isn't related to google products, and it isn't even that good

Nulls are easy enough to squash.

I'm testing out for the first time my new patterned code. It looks like it almost works.

It helps when a constructor doesn't inadvertently call itself.

I still need to do a few more conversions, but I managed to add some functionality that would have been difficult to do had I not made the conversion in the process, so net result, I've spent a week and I'm about back to where I started.

Of course, I've only worked about 3-4 hours on it this week, so...
