Hi sorry this didn't work out. I am quite curious to know that given this layout is quite common , i was not able to find out more of similar case scenarios.

I am using this scenario in just current development for BottomNavigation and is working as expected. So may be causes something minor your side.

So could it be that issue does not lie with activity main but fragment one? Maybe we are messing up layout_width of scrollview or linear layout(direct child)
