but I really like MT frameworks, i don't think it's available, it would probably be really large...
There doesn't seem to be a lot of Java games out there, even though it wouldn't be harder to make a game engine in Java, there just doesn't seem to by any that are pure java.
The best one for Java is Open GL I think but it's based on C too, is that just unavoidable these days? Is there a Java project out there in progress?

how do you set an image as a variable so that you can then program it to rotate
i'm trying to figure out how to make a world, but for a big world, i think you'd need a local world based on moving through the main world, or you'd have to have an insane amount of memory
I need a RAM upgrade but in reality you don't need 10 GB's unless your building a 3 D model of the titanic piece by piece, with all pieces there, and then want to rotate it.

say something like grand theft auto or second life
i would use an array with an image file if possible 2 dimensional to stretch some kind of earth colors across a map randomly, then make another array that sets the height not more than 3000 feet or something, have some mountains add water with a gravity effect
save it all and start again the next day on details

@Unihedro Well, I actually had a job that pretty much consisted of doing MSoffice stuff for the other employees, but that was kind of a fabricated job they made up for unemployed people
Unfortunately, the market shrank after recent political events (seriously, quantity of offers is worse than in 2008), so I think it may make me more preferable for employers, plus will help to learn some themes, where I feel weakness (like, multi-threading)
Yep certification is totally multiple choice. Plus, it's better if you give ODesk or Elance Advanced java test. That's much better than this certification stuff :D
