inside btnSubmit click after whatever your process that you do inside that,at the moment below the toast will be good

then this line AlertDialog dialog=mBuild.create(); should be dialog=mBuild.create();
since you are referring to global one

cannot resolve the symbol means there is no dialog variable to access withing inside of that block
making a variable global is one way that you can access that with in that class
read about local and global variables and how to access local variables inside other methods
