I've deployed a vm in that resource group. No storage accounts show up in the list of existing accounts to use - however both bad storage accounts show up in the list of available "diagnostic storage accounts" to use. So I used one of the bad storage accounts in that new vm. Then tried to delete the resource group. Same behavior, all parts got deleted except for the bad storage account.
