no need to write

Locale locale = new Locale(languageToLoad);
Locale.setDefault(locale);

getBaseContext().getResources().getDisplayMetrics());

again and again

just declare a method and you can call this whenever u need

my app is working in all devices but galaxy tab(4.0.4) giving nullpointer exception
Uri uri = Uri.parse("content://mms-sms/conversations/");

the third line is caused by nullpointer exception

@Dipu...I developed an sms application. And I tested that app in different devices. Working fine..Today I tested in a galaxt tab (android version 4.0.4).. It force close with null pointer exception

the following line is pointed in logcast as the reason for forceclose
