I've got a question posted on StackOverflow and nobody has given me an answer, this is my question if it needs more information to be answered please comment it but don't downvote it i need to know how to do that, if you don't want to check that post then read this,

I need to sent to a stored procedure a table as a parameter from Java to SQL Server, but i don't know how to do it, can anybody help?

hi, quick question - I've found the answer to how to get names of columns of a certain type, but how can i just select all columns of a certain type from a table?

i essentially want select * from table_name where data_type="decimal"

or the logically valid equivalent

it's a batch mode, so i can't just look up the names and then execute the proper query unfortunately
