How do you deal with a user who continually abuses the people trying to anwser his/her question by replying to their comments with strings of obscenities multiple times? I and a few others have flagged his comments, but I believe his account might need moderator attention.

I flagged them to, mods are usually fast, just wait it will be closed and he will probably be suspended. i wouldn't keep feeding the troll like you are however

@LeviMorrison Wouldn't that be better done in the PHP source code (in C)? Often arrays are used in heavily looped sections of code where too many method dispatches can have a noticeable impact on performance.

@Paul It's ok.. Yes, many experienced developers prefer custom php frameworks to wordpress.. But i started a site on wordpress and it has more than 2000+ posts, so i can't lose all those posts now if i change to other frameworks.. so trying to fix things on wordpress itself..

@Desizner You could do it with htaccess, that would be an ok way to do it if you don't have too many that you need to customize. That is probably the easier way if you aren't having too many.

I've tried to do like this: /application/ .. /app1/ .. /app2/ index.php -> where i need it to look for the uri to make the application folder equal to that
and for every application root (http document root) I just keep the .htaccess, index.php and application folder. index.php is edited to include my libci and application folder

@NikiC if you are already using strategies for the comparison why not do compare(callable $strategy) instead of supplying a ctor argument? It's not like we will be able to use operators for comparison anyway.
@LeviMorrison Also, why are Vectory toArray-able, but Collections are not? E.g. a Set can be converted into an array too. And a Map can at least to some degree be converted.
@Gordon I just mean that object don't necessary compare in one single way, but they can compare in several ways, depending on the situation. Thus it's better to pass a hashing function into a HashSet instead of getting the hash through Object->getHash() (from Comparable)
Because in that case you'd be limited to only one comparison behavior

@NikiC I think what you mean is the first part, right? providing a function that defines how the objects in the set are indexed? I mean the latter, providing a way to compare the elements in the set with those in another, by arbitrary criteria.

@Sem I mean, what are you trying to achieve? JavaScript doesn't have the concept of classes, so it would probably be best to show you an example of how to do what you want using the language as it's intended.

@Gordon I think that a general ->compare() doesn't make sense for sets. Rather stuff like ->equals(), ->containsSet(), etc. Because it's hard to say when a set is "smaller" than another one ^^

@PeeHaa E.g. a combination of max_input_vars and and handling of array appends after max_int can be used to determine whether you are running a 32 or a 64 system (and obviously whether the server runs PHP). I think the moderation of some answers is not only rude but innacurate, as it seems deleting the first correct response where a subsequent response writer down voted the first, because they posted same because they wanted theirs to look better is just rude. So the fist right answer is then deleted because its deemed a dup.
