I think I found an answer to this question I just posted, but it might be better to post it as an answer to my previous, similar question and delete the new question. Opinions?

@BenBolker My first inclination is to say post as an answer to the previous question, and close the one you just posted as a duplicate (but don't delete it). There's value in leaving it as a pointer to the other Q.

The Qs are indeed quite similar in principle. The cleanest solution would be to delete the last one and post an answer to your first question ("a la wiki").

@BenBolker The scopes of your questions are different - might make sense to post the answer to the question that best matches scope. If it's ioSlides-only then post to the new question (adding a pointer from the old one). If it's more flexible add it to the old one.
