I am using trying to use rabbitmq to login users to another application when they logged in to the main site. The question is, can i confirm to the publisher that consumer is received the message and made use logged in?

I mean not reconnecting every time i run the script.

@Jimbo by speed i mean the connection speed to rabbitmq which takes 0.081 seconds by php-amqplib and php-amqp is taking .001 or .002 sec to connect.

I have a problem with long polling, as i am using long polling for my chat application, but if the users open multiple tabs then the my long polling request will send more than one request to server I think which is a bad idea. So my question is can i rely on local storage's storage event?

No right now i am technically not trying to find the locations based on ips. I need a proper locations database where user can search and tag their posts.
