the missing semi colon was at the end of here

$status = 1;

but line 6 is now

var_dump($_POST);die();

done, and refreshed and pressed the button again but still nothing. Same error pops up in console about line 6:

im lost now, so my code now looks like:

$success = mail('***@***.com', $subject, $message1, $headers);
var_dump($success) after the first mail();
die();

i unclicked persist and the tabs under the console section are:

clear | persist | profile | all | errors | warnings | info | debug info | cookies

ok removed the form tags and pressed button2. Alerts and then the page doesnt reload :)

pressed the first button and I get the success message, no page reload but no email comes through either and the console displays this message

TypeError: $(...)[0] is undefined

$('#quick_contact')[0].reset();

ok

pressed that and the alert pops up and then the page reloads

ok so it now reads this:
