You "remove a reference" by not using it anywhere, = null does not do what you are expecting. You have invoked a method on it, if that's created any objects you're going down the chain like a monkey on crack

@rudi_visser, look. I have List <WeakEventHandler> (from first case from pastie). When needed, I clear that list, but object referenced from WeakEvenHandler.strongTargetReference doesn't get GC'ed. Is that because I have reference on that List <>, and that List <> once has references to that WeakEventHandlers? And referenced object will be killed only after I remove reference on that list?
It's likely that once you've removed (by .Remove) from the list the WeakEventHandler and it's no longer doing anything in memory either then it will be GC'd (and thus the objects hanging off it too)
@rudi_visser I have table. Like in Exel, for example. There is cells. When I'm scrolling up and down, those cells are recreated every time (that's ok, be sure). I have WeakEventHandler from every such cell. So, these cells doesn't get GC'ed and I'm getting out of memory

there is no rule at all on the form of payment that should be accepted as part of a transaction, it's for the parties to decide. Legal tender, at least in the UK, means the acceptable form of paying a settlement to a court
